THC Z3 Series Locking Assemblies

Z3 Series Locking Assemblies are of single-taper design with a self-locking taper providing good self-centering action and concentricity as well as increased torque capacity. A pre-centering hub section is not required. Integral push-off screws for disassembly are provided. Z3 Series Locking Assemblies are available in two types: straight-thru type (Z3.0) and flange type (Z3.1). Flange type units fix the the hub positively against their external flange, preventing axial movement during tightening. Z3 Series Locking Assemblies are applied wherever self-centering action and good concentricity of mounted components is essential and hubs with straight-thru bores are used. Corresponding series numbers of other suppliers are respectively RfN 7013, B103/6, MAC 1061/2.
